Tim Murray is an extremely poor gm.
And to think you and a few of the homers were singing his praises and even mentioning his name alongside the games best and most accomplished gms not long ago!!

I believe the news coming out of the Burgh tonite is that Sid nearly decapitated an apple before the game & there wasn't even a caution.

Perhaps this is just me being negative, but looking at those stats that Petersen has compiled is there really any way or reason for him to sign with the Sabres at this point? I really see him entering the FA market eventually. I mean, he's going to fulfill the terms of his rights being held by a team and he performed in college during that time at an amazing level. If you have the opportunity to go anywhere you wanted, why would you go to the team that drafted you if you felt it wasn't the best situation for you?

IM more than aware of the oilers deficiencies. And I'm certainly no biased fanboy like Garth.
That said, right now anyway, the oilers are FAR better than the sabres.
As far as chiarelli, made some strange moves no doubt. But the team is better than the day he took the job no doubt as well.
